VENDOR: Fayce

The Skopelos collection draws direct inspiration from a Printmaking Residency I attended in Skopelos, Greece. Each pattern in this collection was created with Monoprints; a printmaking technique that produces one-of-a-kind prints. I painted each pattern on glass and then transferred them to paper.

Whether walking around the port, sipping ouzo at a taverna or lounging on the beach, the one constant view were sailboats. Skopelos is one of the four inhabited islands in the Sporades, a group of islands on the east coast of Greece. Exploring by boat was the best way to reach the pristine, untouched beaches. Watching the masts of the sailboats rocking gently in the water was rhythmic and soothing whether I was on land or sea.
